America's fastest growing New Year's Eve Drop is in Mobile, AL,the birthplace of American Mardi Gras. On Dec. 31, 2011, an estimated 61000 people crammed foggy downtown Mobile just a few feet away from the Mobile River to see a 350 pound Moon Pie drop from the city's second tallest building. Herndon Davis of PPE (Pop, Politics & Entertainment) was there to cheer his hometown on!! Bands performed that night were Lakeside and Three Dog Night.
