Cotton plans transfer to South Alabama

MOBILE, Ala. (AP) Raymond Cotton's father says the quarterback is transferring from Mississippi to South Alabama. Raymond Cotton Sr. told the Mobile Press-Register Thursday that the redshirt freshman was granted his release from the Rebels only for the fledgling program.
